Autism is a devastating neurological disorder that affects 1 in every 88 children today. It is estimated that there are over 1 million people with autism in the United States alone. Individual families bear most of the financial responsibility for therapy and medical care, which can cost up to $80,000 a year. Some face a loss of income when one parent must stay home to provide round-the-clock care for their special-needs child. As well, many people affected with autism will require lifelong care at a cost of $5 million to $7 million. To sum it up, families of children with autism face enormous challenges, oftentimes without the love and support of their family and community. There is hope for these families. Ashlyn’s Hope exists to positively impact families of children with autism through meaningful programming that builds and strengthens the family unit through its core beliefs of Hope, Healing, Respite and Recovery. Please join us and help raise money for families in need with an unforgettable evening filled with fun and fabulous art as you paint a picture with new friends!

Sign up, show up, sip up! You’ll follow along with a local artist who will give you stroke-by-stroke instructions on how to create the night’s featured painting. You will go home with new friends, great memories, and a newly-created masterpiece that shows off your “inner artist.” No experience in painting? NO problem, our local artists will guide you step-by-step! Our paintings are suitable for the first-time painter or for more experienced artists. Ashlyn’s Hope will be providing snacks, wine and other refreshments for this spectacular night out.

If you cannot be in attendance, please consider making a donation OR purchasing a ticket for a parent of a child with autism who might not be able to afford one. Just leave a note under the comments section with your donation.
